We Foster Climate Action
Carbon Initiative Forum (CIF) is a nonprofit organisation working towards environmental awareness while encouraging individuals/organisations to take charge of their impact on the world around them. We collate information on the various aspects under the umbrella of climate change – its causes, short and long term effects, and how we can adapt and take action to mitigate the ever-changing planet. CIF engages with the public, equipping them to make sound-informed choices that could potentially bring about positive holistic change in the world around them. CIF also aims to prepare them to face the local challenges arising from this global crisis.
WE ENGAGE WITH COMMUNITIES
CIF encourages everyone to be a part of this movement which focuses on bringing about change. Through our community based work, we aim to ameliorate living conditions, as we recognize that climate change is a multi-layered issue, which is responsible for not only environmental but also social and economic struggles. We seek to engage communities and governments towards sustainable growth and development.
WE COMMIT TO CHANGE
CIF as part of its commitment to a global movement has engaged and pledged to UNFCCC initiatives like Climate Neutral Now by ensuring all our operations attain climate neutrality. We also encourage our engaging partners to commit to climate neutrality.
WE LEAD THE CHANGE
Our planet is at the brink of irreversible climate change due human induced actions. We have already started to witness the impacts of this change, be it ocean acidification, droughts, devastating storms, etc. We are a resilient species and it is our responsibility to sustain all living species on this planet. CIF will ensure that it shall take the lead in this resilience.
